Smooth Lock Butter Silk

Please bring back the Butter Treat. The Butter Silk is no comparison! I'm taking the product back to the store.

This product is the replacement from Redken's Smooth Down Butter Treatment and it is not as good. This one is more watery and not as thick. Also, it just doesn't do as much moisturizing repair as the butter treatment. I am sad this is the replacement.

I have no idea why Redken has decided to discontinue such a successful product. I have long dark hair that does frizz and this is the BEST PRODUCT I have found. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth. I constantly get compliments and pass on the tip to use smooth down. This replacement is inferior and is being returned. Hopefully Redken will reconsider and continue smooth down, otherwise lose me. :(

Have used Smooth Down Butter Silk for years. Tried this replacement product and DO NOT LIKE IT! I am returning it as it has dried my hair out and made it look dull and lifeless.

I was extremely satisfied with the discontinued Butter Treatment which I used for the past 10 years. I am so disappointed with this new product. It leaves my long curly hair dry, lifeless and stringy. The old product was perfect for defining curls. I am returning the 5 bottles I bought (I always bought in bulk) and looking for a replacement product. In the meantime, I hope Redken reconsiders t

I miss Smooth Down Butter Treat! I have long, curly, dry/frizz-prone hair, and have been using Smooth Down Butter Treat for about 8 years. This Butter Silk crap doesn't do a thing for my hair.

I tried "Crema Care" from the Real Control line; it doesn't do anything for my hair either. No luck with Curvaceous products either.

SUPER disappointed, Redken. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This is a terrible replacement for Butter Treat Smooth Down. I'm not happy with the butter silk. It's a pathetic attempt at a replacement. Once my bottle is gone, I'm done with Redken. Unless you bring back Butter Treat, then we'll talk :)

Axed great hair products line & replaced it with inferior products. I’ve used Smooth Down line for 10+ yrs & it was GREAT. The replacement, Smooth Lock, is bad. Please bring back the butter down- it is the ONLY product I have found that works with my hair in a dry climate. The replacement is definitely not as good- seems to make the dryness worse.

Obviously you didn't do a SURVEY!! Look how many unhappy customers you have! I'm at a site now buying up what I can afford. I hope someone actually reads these and pays attention to the CUSTOMERS. :((((
