Smooth Lock Conditioner

Bring back the old formula! It is obvious you have cheapened the ingredients in this new formula because as a result you have a "cheap" product. I have been using Redken Smooth Down for years; it was an AMAZING product and well worth the price. Now, not only am I unable to de-tangle my hair, it is just dry and dull. I am in search of another brand comparable to the old smooth down. Two thumbs down

I too am a loyal Smooth Down user and am so sad it's been discontinued. I used Smooth Lock once and ran to return it since the smell literally made me sick after using it. I couldn't even give it a second chance it was that bad!

Can I give Smooth Lock conditioner zero stars? It is terrible.
I've been using All Soft shampoo with Smooth Down conditioner for years and can't understand why you discontinued Smooth Down conditioner. I am terribly disappointed.

It took me years to find a product like smooth down for my very curly hair. It worked great and I have been a loyal user. Smooth Lock is not the same! My hair is very dry with no shine and hard to manage. Bring back smooth down, please. I am desperate.

Save your money girls ~ This stuff, and the shampoo, is crap. I give both products -0- stars.

I was lucky to use one time Smooth Down and it was the first time my very dry hair was looking okay. I am very disappointed that you stopped Smooth Down because Smooth Lock which is supposed to have the same properties is not good for my hair ! I am going to stop using Redken I think.

I have used your smooth down product line religiously for 10 yrs. I am bi-racial and Smooth Down had my hair looking beautiful. I purchased your larger 33.8 oz. Containers from Ulta. I was thrown for a loop on my last Ulta visit by your misleading new product - w/ it's similar bottle color! Nice trick! Hair is literally ruined! It is like straw,can't get a comb through it w/severe breakage!

I am so disappointed with the replacement of Smooth Down to Smooth Lock. Smooth Lock is horrible! It has made my hair very dry and has a nasty smell to it. I am going to return it and hoping the store takes it back! Bring back the Smooth Down please!!!!

I was using Smooth Down and loved it. This 'replacement' Smooth Lock is horrible! It smells so bad and the smell sticks around that I had to return it.

After using Smooth Lock, my hair was soft, smooth, & felt amazing. I don't even have to curl or use any type of smoothing tool on it if I don't want to. I can wash, dry, & go. No product on the market has ever done this for me -- I would get beach waves from other products, but the effect would be unruly and frizzy.
