Smooth Lock Shampoo

I have been using Smooth Down forever and I loved the way it took the frizz away and made my hair so soft and shiny. I just purchased the large bottles of the lock shampoo and conditioner and I HATE it. It was a complete waste of a good amount of money. My hair feels and looks awful. I could have saved myself about $30 and gone to the drug store to buy Suave and got the same results. This Smooth Lock system is horrible. Why, why , why, WHY did Smooth Down get discontinued? I have used Smooth Down for YEARS. My hair is very dry and curly. Smooth Dowm was the absolute best shampoo for me. I will not EVER purchase Smooth Lock again. I will be leaving the Redken line-PERIOD.

I've used Smooth Down for years and I thought this Smooth Lock was the same thing due to the same bottle color & similar name. IT'S NOT THE SAME! Boy, was I disappointed! I agree with all the other customer reviews. My hair is dry and brittle, and the outcome is the same as if I used any other shampoo brand from the supermarket.
BRING BACK SMOOTH DOWN! RECALL SMOOTH LOCK!

I used Smooth Lock on my 3 daughter's hair. They usually use the Smooth Down. Smooth Lock is horrible...dull, lifeless hair is what you get with Smooth Lock.
Please bring back Smooth Down...it is soooooo much better than Smooth Lock.

I usually have very smooth silky hair. I bought this product the Redken smooth Lock conditioner and shampoo and after my first use I found my hair felt very dry and brittle. I thought maybe this was a fluke so I used this product again and had the same result. I do not understand why this is because I have had good luck with Redken products in the past when used in the salon.

I have been using smooth down duo and heat glide for years! I have long hair, people always ask me what I use.I loved, loved, loved smooth down. Smooth lock is terrible and making my hair dull! I want to cry! My hair feels gummy, not shiny, dirty, gross and tangled. I have no idea what to buy now and I might be hauling my shopping cart of lock products back. I'm so sad!

I want the Smooth Down back!!! Why did you replace with this terrible Smooth lock product?!!! Your website lies because the average review is zero but you have to click at least one star or it goes to all five. This product is disgusting and will not buy Redken any longer unless the Smooth Down comes back. Ever.

Why?? After 30 years smoothdown was the onlyyyy product that left my hair wavy and soft. It grew my hair from above shoulder to mid back.Smooth lock does not smell good and only works ok when I straighten my hair and it leaves my hair dry. Why? Bring back Smoothdown please!!!!
