How To Use
For a Full Body Blow-Dry
Apply duo shield 07 Color Protecting Gel-Cream into Damp hair, and blow dry.
Take large sections of hair, the more random the sections, the more real it will look. Spray each section with spray starch 15 Finishing Thermal Spray. Take a large iron and curl. Pin each section to cool. When cooled, take down and shake hair into place.

With Number 9 I was in h
This made my hair so sticky I couldn't even get a brush through. It turned my hair into a gummy stiff mess. Threw most of it out, would not purchase again.
A little of this goes a long way. Too much and your hair is sticky. I am a stylist so I like to try different products. The main problem with this is the next day your hair is dirty and no chance of squeaking out another day. If you wash your hair everyday and want volume its great but my hair is not shiny like it advertises. Redken guts is better.
I don't care for this product at all. I would love to have 09 back as would others from what I've read on numerous websites. 07 leaves hair gummy no matter how much or little I use. In fact I've noticed a lot of hair breakage from 07. I used 09 for years steadily and my hair was always in great condition. Please bring 09 back!!!!
I am so disappointed in Duo Shield. It makes my hair gummy and sticky...hate it! I wish I could still get Blown Away 09, it was the best. Now I will have to start looking for some other gel other than a Redken product.
09 was fantastic! Made my hair shiny, manageable and great hold. 07 made my hair sticky and weighted down. Not a replacement for 09. I am so disappointed that 09 is no longer available.

Enjoy this product but needs to be used for the right hair type and in small amounts. Very concentrated and can gum up or weigh down hair if not used correctly. I most like it on medium density hair that is medium to short in length. Also like it on my male clients to hold style as I blow dry. Don't love that the two have to mix together in the container, doesn't come out evenly all the time.
Bring back Blown Away! Duo shield is sticky , Tacky awful stuff and makes the hair really dull. disappointing.
I LOVE this stuff. My hair: shoulder length, super fine, no volume, delicate. A quarter sized dollop smooshed in my palms concentrating on roots and then through lengths gives me beautiful, shiny, smooth VOLUMINOUS hair!
