Official Rules for
Redken 10,000 Blondes Sampling Program

1.    HOW TO ENTER:  The Redken 10,000 Blondes Sampling program starts 12:00am Eastern Time (ET) on 6/1/2009 and ends once 5000 sample requests are collected. No purchase necessary.  Entrants as of 6/1/2009 must be 18 years of age or older.  Giveaway is open to legal residents of the continental U.S. Entry form and instructions will be available at www.redken.com throughout the entry period.   Entry form must be completed in full. You may submit your entry online or by regular U.S. mail.  To submit your entry online, complete the online entry form and click the “Submit” button to enter during the entry period.  No correspondence regarding entries will be acknowledged or entered into with entrants.  Employees and agents of Redken 5th Avenue NYC, their parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, illegible, stolen, damaged, misdirected or postage due entries.  Personal information collected from participant is used only for the purpose to notify the winner, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Redken 5th Avenue NYC (the “Administrator”), or any third parties, unless participant has checked the box that appears on the online entry form, and opts to receive news and offer about Redken products.  Any mail-in entry submitted will do so with the understanding that the entrant is opting to receive this information from Redken.  Once the sampling program has ended, all information supplied by participants who do not agree to receive such information will be removed from the database. 
2.    PRIZE: 5000 winners will be collected from the Redken.com sample requests.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.  Prize includes: 1 sample size of a Redken Blonde Glam Color Enhancer  Approximate Retail Value: $16.00  Actual retail value of the prize may vary. Certain restrictions may apply.  Any portion of the prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited.  All expenses not specified are the sole responsibility of prize winner.  Void where prohibited.  No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at Redken 5th Avenue NYC’s sole discretion.  Prizes are not redeemable for cash.  All federal/state/local taxes are the sole responsibility of sample recipients.  Redken 5th Ave NYC reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.  No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted.  Limit one entry per person.  
3.    ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the continental U.S. Winner must be 18 years of age or older.  Employees and agents of Redken 5th Avenue NYC, their parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same households of such persons are ineligible to enter or win. Void in Puerto Rico and Canada and where prohibited by law.   Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and accept decisions of the Sponsor as final in all matters relating to this contest.  Proof of mailing entry does not constitute proof of delivery. 
4.    LIMITATIONS:    Redken 5th Avenue NYC, and their parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, shall have no obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error or any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties,  (iv) any inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason; (v) if a prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellation, delays or interruptions due to Acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism or weather; or (vi) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from awarding, acceptance, possession, use, misuse, loss or misdirection of any prize or resulting from participating in this promotion or any promotion or prize related activities.  Redken 5th Avenue NYC and the Sponsor, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of this giveaway or otherwise violating these rules.  If Redken 5th Avenue NYC or the Sponsor determine, in their respective discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside their control compromise the integrity or viability of the promotion, Redken 5th Avenue NYC reserves the right to void the entries at issue, modify the promotion and/or terminate the relevant portion of the promotion. 
5.    GENERAL CONDITIONS:  Administrator reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Redken website, or who is otherwise in violation of the Official Rules.  Administrator further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify the sampling program in the event the sampling giveaway is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, or technical failures of any kind.  In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Giveaway at the actual time of entry will be deemed the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules.  Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE REDKEN WEBSITE OR TAMPER WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT(S) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the judges.  Winner consents to the use of his/her name and/or photograph for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.  Entrants agree that their entry will be owned by the Sponsor and Administrator and its designees shall have the right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such entry in any way including in commerce and in any and all media worldwide, including but not limited to the Internet, without limitation and without compensation to the entrant.  Entrants represent that their entries, and the Sponsor’s and Administrator’s use thereof, will not infringe upon the rights of any third parties.
