Create a horseshoe section, and separate hair into 2 sections: top and bottom. Start in the bottom section, use a ½ “- 1” curling iron, and then alternate spiral wrapping random vertical sections around the barrel. Continue throughout the top section. When sections cool, use a small amount of shape factor 22 sculpting cream paste into palms and on fingers, and distribute through mid-lengths and ends of hair.
Separate the 2 sections: front and back. Loosely rake the back section with fingers into a low ponytail, and secure.
Make a side part, and twist the front into the low ponytail, and secure. TIP: To give a more piecey texture, pull out random pieces.
To create the loop effect, take the remaining length of the ponytail, and fold at the base.
