Coffee Late Hair: Chloe Norgaard's City Beats Haircolor + Makeup Challenge

Coffee Latte

Our favorite warm beverages have inspired the new haircolor on the block: coffee latté hair, a burgundy haircolor trend. We’re highlighting coffee latté looks created by our #RedkenTribe, including this month’s installment of our 2017 City Beats Haircolor Challenge. To bring the look to life, Redken Artist Sean Godard transformed Redken Muse Chloe Norgaard’s hair into what coffee latté dreams are made of. Keep reading to see the technique Sean used to create a refreshing twist on burgundy brunette haircolor.

For the perfect match to this fun variation on vivid hair, NYX Cosmetics helped take Chloe’s makeup to the next level. Makeup Artist Sarah Mae applied neutral light brown shadows to accent Chloe’s eyes, while flattering peach tones were used on the lips. The makeup used for this look was purposely natural in order to balance the striking haircolor. Here’s Sarah Mae’s cheat sheet on achieving this great look:

1.Help smooth out your client’s skin and reduce the appearance of pores by priming with NYX Studio Perfect Face Primer.
2. For shaped and defined arches, fill in the brows with NYX Micro Brow Pencil.
3. Help even out the face’s complexion using NYX’s Total Control Drop Foundation.
4. To instantly brighten up the skin, apply NYX’s Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand to conceal everything from under eye circles to blemishes.
5. Lightly contour and warm up the cheekbones using NYX Cream and Highlight Palette.
6. For a warm wash of color on the eyes, sweep the brown eyeshadows from NYX’s Go-To Palette in Wanderlust over the lids.
7. Use a small detailing makeup brush to apply NYX’s Duo Chromatic Illumination Powder in Snow Rose to the inner corner of the eyes
8. Keep the lips neutral using a pink, peach toned lipstick like NYX’s Liquid Suede Lipstick in Tea & Cookies.
9. To finish off the look, seal in the makeup using NYX’s Dewy Finish Setting Spray.
