What better way to bring the blonde trend to life than with a marble hair inspired twist? The not-your-average blonde goes the extra mile thanks to bold rainbow painted streaks that speak to the unicorn in all of us

For this month’s edition of our ongoing haircolor journey , Redken Artist Sean Godard took things up a notch with this stunning rainbow blonde look on Redken Muse Chloe Norgaard. To complement the look, Sean collaborated with NYX Cosmetics to infuseholographic vibes throughout Chloe’s hair and makeup. Experimenting with haircolor using City Beats was a no-brainer in this look that slays the moment. Whether you want to make a major change or just want to have fun with your haircolor, take your look to the next level by asking your stylist to re-create this show-stopping look.

HAIRCOLOR TREND

To score the multidimensional hues found in Chloe’s hair, Godard applied the haircolors by creating three braids on the top layer of the hair. For the rainbow effect, he mixed different shades using City Beats in West Village Sunset, Yellow Cab, Brooklyn Blue, Mode Town Magenta and Highline Green. The key to recreating this look lies in using Godard’s unique braiding technique to help ensure a stunning color application.

By using City Beats in this look, Godard didn’t have to worry about mess or bleed when working with the color creams. The semi-permanent formula is intermixable and makes it possible to experiment with vibrant hues without having to use developer. When going vivid, consider treating your hair with a Heatcure Professional service. The heat-activated service can help restore the look and feel of your hair for up to 10 washes, which means you won’t have to compromise on your hair’s health in order to create beautiful, vibrant haircolor.

To achieve the gorgeous glow found on Chloe’s skin, Makeup Artist Sarah Mae used NYX Cosmetics highlighters throughout her face. With just a few key products, Mae was able to create a beautifully appealing makeup look on Chloe that struck a balance next to her vivid haircolor. It was anything but overpowering thanks to must-have neutral makeup tones.

1. To get things started, create a base for makeup to adhere to by applying NYX Studio Perfect Face Primer.
2. For swoon-worthy arches like Chloe’s, fill in brows with NYX Micro Brow Pencil.
3. To even out the look of your skin, apply an even layer of NYX’s Total Control Drop Foundation.
4. Dab a small amount of NYX’s Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand wherever needed. The blendable formula comes in a variety of shades that can help cover everything from imperfections to under-eye circles.
5. Lightly sculpt the cheekbones using NYX Cream and Highlight palette.
6. Let the haircolor stand on its own by applying neutral shades on the eyes with NYX’s Go-To Palette in Bon Voyage.
7. Apply NYX’s Duo Chromatic Illumination Powder in Snow Rose to the high points of the face or wherever light naturally hits.
8. For perfectly pink lips, swipe on NYX Plush Lipstick in Dime Piece and top things off with Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait.
8. Lock the look in place while maintaining skin’s glow by spritzing NYX’s Dewy Finish Setting Spray all over the skin.
