Claim Your Business & maximize your visibility online! Control the conversation on your salon. Here’s a quick cheat sheet on getting started.

  1. Visit biz.yelp.com OR call Yelp at (844) 889-6823 and an agent will be happy to assist you.
  2. Enter your business name and location. Click "Get Started."
  3. See your business? Select "Claim This Business."

    • Don't see your business? Select “Add Your Business to Yelp” and follow the steps to add your business information.
    • Is your business already claimed? Congrats! You already own your page and have an account.
  4. Validate your ownership of the listing by inputting your email address.

     
  5. Continue with each step. Be sure to include items from the checklist below:
    • Hours of Operation: Ensure information is accurate so client's know when they can make an appointment before they call
    • Phone #: Accessibility is key!
    • Add Photos: Businesses with at least one photo receive an average of 12x the customer leads on Yelp as a business with no photos
    • Add Services: Does your salon also offer wedding services? Nails?
    • Add Business History: Everyone loves a good story! Whether you’ve been open for generations, or built your business from the ground up, Yelp is a great place to share

Tips for A Great Yelp Page

  1. Keep Your Information Up-To-Date
    • Be sure to accurately include: Address, Phone Number & Website URL.
  2. Be Consistent
    • Create other social accounts like Instagram and Facebook, but be consistent with all usernames.
    • Use tools like Namechk. for username availability before you start creating.
  3. Listen & Learn
