Rated 1 out of 5 by from I miss the old 22 Hot Sets I had been using Hot Sets since my senior prom in 2002 and my hairdresser introduced me to it. I LOVED it! If I curl my hair it goes straight after an hour or two - and that's with hair spray. With Hot Sets I could curl my hair, sleep in it, and it was STILL curly the next day. It was a miracle product! The last few years the formula for this has been slowly watered down and is total garbage now. My hair goes flat in a few hours again. Please Redken, bring back the old formulation. I used to purchase 22 years ago for friends as gifts because I loved it so much. Now, I won't even purchase it for myself. When you bring the old formulation back, I'll be purchasing it in bulk for myself and friends!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the prior formula. The new formula for Hot Sets 22 has changed. It apears to be a watered down version and does not hold my hair like the pervious product. Very disappointed with this newer version. I have thick hair and it needs something strong to hold my style in place. I now have to use twice as much to get only a fraction of the holding power. Please return to the old formula as the current one cannot hold a candle to the old one. I live in the South where the humidity will wreck your style as soon as you step outside. Will be searching for another product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FORMULA HAS CHANGED!!!! PLEASE bring back the old formula! It was the best product that Redken could put on the market. It appears the new label is not able to fool any of us who have used this particular product for years and never had a problem until the formula was changed. My hairdresser and her clients are disappointed as well in the quality of the formula is not doing what it has done before in the past. I would only recommend this product if you go back to the original formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from None I purchased Redkin 22 Hot Sets on April 26 2014. It looks like it is watered down and has very little holding power. Is this a new formula because it doesn't hold a candle to the product that I have been purchasing for over 18 or so years. Please advise me as I find this useless as a hair styler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring Back Spray Starch 15 This replacement is nothing compared to the Spray Starch 15. I used the Spray Starch for at least 15 years. I have natural curly hair and it was great for the use of the flat iron and then as a finishing spray. The Hot Sets 22 just does not compare to the hold and even almost makes my hair feel sticky. I am hoping that you'll realize you had a great thing with the Spray Starch 15 and you'll bring it back!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed!! I purchased and used one complete bottle of this product after I was told I could no longer get "Spray Starch 15", a product I had used for years. This product is not nearly as good. The search is now on for some new product to give my thick, baby- fine hair some body and holding power in the humid South. I don't use gels and foams because they usually weigh my hair down. Your "Spray Starch 15" was perfect for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as Effective as Discontinued Predecessor I purchased this product as a replacement for my much-loved but discontinued Spray Starch 15. It does not hold my thin, fine hair nearly as effectively, and made my hair look and feel dry and crunchy. Why mess with a good thing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I also am extremely disappointed in this product compared to the spray starch. I also live in the south, Florida, and the humidity kills my hair..makes it a flat mess..spray starch was a great help in holding my curling iron styled hair. Please reconsider discontinuing it!!
