I got interested in doing hair in 1996 when my mentor suggested that I got my cosmetologist license and joined her hair salon. In the spring of that year I went to my first hair show and attended a Redken color class. After that I was very motivated and signed up for cosmetology school. After school I took more advanced color classes at the Redken Exchange in NYC. I'm very fortunate for using Redken color and products from the very beginning of my career. Redken is a very professional and reliable company, Thanks Redken!
I've been a hair colorist since 1996. I have always used Redken color.
I can create a natural gray hair coverage and effective high-lighting effects. I can correct unwanted color. Keeping the integrity of the hair is my priority, as well as having reasonably priced services. I work efficiently, clean and offer excellent customer service.
Every morning, I wake up happy and inspired by having the opportunity to help my clients. I'm also inspired by my kid, people watching, Redken educators and my colleagues.
The first step is to find a highly recommended hair professional. Redken.com is one of the best online resources to search and find a great colorist. If this is your first time coloring your hair, I'd like to start with a low-impact application or approach. You can always add or do more to your hair. Have a hair consultation with your colorist one or more days prior to the actual service. Find pictures of the color or high-lighting effect that you have in mind, visual aids are great for helping communicating what we want or don't want.
Yes, of course. The color service has to be customized for every client as there are so many variables in determining the final look. For instance: hair condition, haircut, color formulation, foil placement, processing time, desired effect, client's budget and home maintenance.
Charlize Theron always looks great.
When color clients return, I'm thrilled to hear how the haircolor and cut worked for them. And if there is any feedback from them or other people. I want my clients to feel reassured that I keep detail records of their haircolor goals and formulas used which I review and evaluate every client's visit. I'm very consistent with my service, pricing, my professional personality and ongoing training.
I don't have a definite style. I wear what I like. I love Banana Republic and Mark Ecko's designs. Pretty much what you see is what you get.
