My natural hair color is a light ash brown color. It is almost blonde, but not quite. My eyebrows are a medium ash brown with light green eyes. My complexion is fair as well. I dyed my hair an auburn color thinking that it would brighten my eyes, but it contrasts too much with my eyebrows. What color should I die my hair that looks natural and compliments my eyes AND eyebrows?

My natural haircolor is light ash brown. It is almost blonde, but not quite. My eyebrows are medium ash brown with light green eyes. My complexion is fair. I dyed my hair auburn thinking that it would brighten my eyes, but it contrasts too much with my eyebrows. What color should I dye my hair so that it looks naturaly and compliments my eyes and eyebrows? This sounds similar to my clients Amanda Peet or Kate Beckinsale’s color; they both have light eyes and fair complexion. If you want your eyes to pop and compliment both your eyes and eyebrows, ask your colorist for a dark brunette shade and to add in a few baby fine highlights right around the top of the head to soften up the look a bit. The dark shade will also look great with the fall and winter seasons ahead; many of my clients darkened and cooled their locks after the summer. Also ask your colorist to use Shades EQ to lock in that vibrate shine and it won’t be as difficult to die out the dark if you’re not in love with it, but try it out! |
